Amy, a breast cancer survivor, met Jeanine in 2010 during a breast cancer support meeting and they became fast friends. She said “yes” to volunteering for that very first Little Pink Retreat in Kure Beach 2011 and continued to volunteer in as many ways possible through the next 3 years. February 2014 Amy become part of the LPHOH staff and is looking forward to all the wonderful opportunities Little Pink has to serve others. Amy has three beautiful daughters who continue to amaze and inspire her everyday. She has a strong faith in God and tries to enjoy life and never take a moment for granted!
Retreat Relations Director
Kathy has always loved God and His creation, leading to her job as a middle school science teacher. Kathy’s involvement with Little Pink began while teaching LPHOH Founder Jeanine’s son, Jake, where she created unique school fundraisers to support the retreats. Her experiences then expanded to volunteering for retreats, serving as a Retreat Director and now on staff as our Retreat Relations Director.
Kathy and her husband Garry have 4 amazing daughters, Amanda, Carey, Anna and Laura. They LOVE the beach and see it as a place of connection and respite, just like the mission of Little Pink for the families that attend a retreat. She enjoys gardening, puzzles, and games with her family, and her new job as Retreat Applications Coordinator. What better place to do the things that she loves the most – serve God, love people, and enjoy the beach!
