SUMMARY:Telluride\, CO
DESCRIPTION:Telluride and Mountain Village\, CO are nestled at the end of a lush canyon and surrounded by some of Colorado’s most rugged peaks. Nowhere else in the country\, or perhaps the world\, does such a place exist.  it is the most beautiful spot of the Rocky Mountain high country.  Telluride is tucked into a box canyon surrounded by 13\,000 and 14\,000-foot peaks. The town is just eight blocks wide and twelve blocks long. Because of its significant role in the history of the American West\, the core area of Telluride was designated a National Historic Landmark District in 1964. Telluride is connected to Mountain Village by a free Gondola. \nThis retreat is a VERY High altitude that participants should take into consideration when applying if prone to altitude sickness.  Also\, to go between activities\, participants will be using the FREE Gondola system\, so participants afraid of heights should consider this when selecting this as a retreat destination. \n							\n					\n					\n		\n	\n		\n		\n			\n			\n								LPHOH gave me the reset that I needed and the confidence to try new things and the ability to share this journey with others.			 \n			\n				Kara\n			\n			\n		\n		\n					\n	\n	\n				\n			Read Kara's Story\n		\n				\n			View all stories \n		\n	\n	\n	\n			\n		\n			\n	\n	\n							\n					\n					\n\n				\n				\n\n			\n			\n		\n		\n	\n	\n		\n	\n		\n			\n\n				\n					How to Get Involved\n\n					\n											\n							I live close to the retreat location and want to get involved						\n						\n							Join our local planning group called Team Pink.  From getting involved with helping plan the retreat\, providing gifts for families\, securing activities and meals or using your special talents\, Team Pink has a place for you.  Fill out the volunteer application to get involved. \n						\n											\n							I want to support the retreat with an in kind donation						\n						\n							The primary donations needed for a retreat week include: \n\nGrocery Gift Cards\nGifts for families\nSpecial location-specific items for welcome bags\nPaper Goods- plates\, napkins\, plastic cutlery\, paper towels\, toilet paper\nSponsor a family for the week ($1008) by making a general donation\nSponsor an activity or meal ($250) by making a general donation\n\n						\n											\n							I would like to donate my property for the retreat week						\n						\n							Retreats are only possible because of generous house donors.  Please fill out the Home Donor form \n						\n											\n							I am interested in getting my business\, school\, church\, or civic group involved						\n						\n							The community is the key ingredient to the success of every Little Pink Retreat week!  Ways for your group to get involved: \n\nAdopt a retreat.
