Love and Togetherness at a Little Pink Retreat

Retreats

On Tuesday May 3, 2022 our office was able to experience the love and togetherness of a Little Pink retreat. Our office is located right outside of Topsail Island. When we were told the mission that Little Pink has, we couldn’t wait to become a part of the Little Pink retreat family.

We were excited to provide lunch and interact with the participants. We were expecting to provide a quick lunch and head back to our normal routine, but that isn’t what happened at all. We returned back to the office with our hearts filled with joy after the participants filled our cups with so much gratitude. Each family we met had their own unique story of how the cancer diagnosis affected them, but not one of them finished their story without being so appreciative of this retreat. This was truly a time for them to be away from doctor’s appointments, stress and worry.

One of our own teammates was diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 27. She fought her initial diagnosis through COVID. In September of 2021 she was given the news that her cancer had also made its way to her bones. She was able to speak with other survivors just like herself that restored her hope and reminded her that she is not alone in this fight.

Little Pink is filled with awesome opportunities for families who have experienced this diagnosis. Our office is proud to support this organization and we look forward to helping for years to come.

-Stephanie Gordon, Director of Operations NorthState Dental Partners and Seaside Dental
