Why is this important to you?
First and foremost, the women that battle breast cancer every day are some of the strongest, most inspirational women I know. It is so important to support their fight  any way I can. I have spent a large majority of my adult life working in cancer research, mostly breast cancer, and interacting on a daily basis with these women. I have learned so much about the importance of life, love and living everyday to the fullest. It is a life-altering experience that the entire family unit endures and continues to fight for years after treatments have stopped. The retreats provided by LPHOH are an essential part of their recovery. Additionally, my aunt is a breast cancer survivor and my family has several close friends who have fought this awful disease.

Why is this important to you? I am so happy to help raise money for such an awesome cause. Our families and so many others have seen first hand how a cancer diagnosis and treatment can impact a family. The opportunities that Little Pink Houses of Hope provides are invaluable.
