Busy and Fun Day!

Retreats

Blog by: Retreat Director Anita Vincent

Tuesday at Myrtle Beach we had stand up paddle boarding in the ocean was a first for our families and a first for Little Pink!  No wind, small waves and low tide provided the perfect atmosphere for this activity. Ocean Cure was phenomenal!  Six well skilled instructors came giving lessons helping each one be successful with this activity.

Lunch was served on the beach in order we might not interrupt our fun time on the beach.

Thanks to Prestwick Country Club, golfing was on the agenda for 6 of our guys. A 2 o’clock tee time got them back to Ocean Lakes just in time for a delicious Italian dinner and scrumptious desserts provided by members of Journey Church.

The Jesus Loves Me Quilters from Journey Church also made and gave to each lady a pink quilt, along with a bag filled with many goodies.

To bring Tuesday to a close, the families were entertained by Chief Palota with Aloha Y’all. Hawaiian dancing and fire twirling certainly had every one’s attention.
