  • Note from our Founder/President
    Jeanine Patten-Coble

I am excited that you are interested in serving with Little Pink Houses of Hope! Believe me when I say that it can change your life while changing the lives of others. Since founding the organization, I have attended countless retreats as a volunteer, done many community events as a volunteer, and in doing so, have had the most amazing experience and have created lifelong friends.

My hope is that your gifts and talents will be utilized in your service with Little Pink and that you will feel at home within our organization. There is no task too small that does not make a huge impact within our organization.

Thank you for bringing your best, most authentic self to the communities that we serve.

    Jeanine Patten-Coble

Please take your time through the next few pages of the General Volunteer Compliance and Orientation Session.  We take pride in our standards and educating you to serve to your best ability.

  • Little Pink Overview

Little Pink Houses of Hope was founded with one simple mission - put a loving embrace around families that are on the physically, emotionally, and financially exhausting breast cancer journey. Our mission is fulfilled by providing free week-long vacation retreats for breast cancer patients and their families. Retreats occur all across the United States allowing the organization to have a national impact while providing personal connections for participants. The once in a lifetime retreat experience is only possible because of a large network of important volunteers. From the applications process to retreat attendance LP volunteers leverage their gifts and talents to provide an excellent week of empowerment and hope for our families.

  • Little Pink Volunteer Mission Statement

Sharing hope and love by serving in an exceptional capacity

At the heart of Little Pink Houses of Hope's volunteer mission is love, love that gives hope to breast cancer survivors and their families through retreats and community events. Communities, Property donors, and Volunteers come together to make the mission come alive, all serving with one purpose - HOPE!

  • Hopeful Experiences

Our goal is to help foster family bonds through relaxed play and time away.  We believe that individuals will have a chance to grow in their well-being, relationships, nutrition, and spirit to help in their cancer journey.  We believe that at all stages of the cancer journey, it is not enough to survive, but rather to focus on thriving and celebrating life.

  • Loving Relationships

Our goal is to foster loving relationships by our words, actions, service, and connections. We believe that not only will families grow in love during our retreat weeks, but families will continue their Little Pink experience long after the end of a retreat or volunteer experience.

  • Non-Judgmental Environment

Our promise is to create an environment of acceptance among staff, volunteers, and participants. We believe that families come in all shapes and sizes. We do not discriminate based on race, sexual orientation or identity, gender, disability, age, geographic location, or religion. Breast cancer affects everyone, and it is our mission to serve everyone who is on the journey. Cancer is the great equalizer- there is no room for judgment, only love and compassion.
