Came As a Couple Left As a Family

Retreats

029 (500x334)

The last day of the Little Pink Buxton couples retreat began with a great breakfast consisting of pancakes and bagels. Daniel Pullen did a fantastic job taking pictures of our couples. We then took a ferry to Ocracoke Island for lunch at the Flying Melon Café. After lunch the couples enjoyed shopping in Ocracoke.
We ate well tonight. Dinner was a combination of steak, chicken and fish. After everyone was finished it was time for the final meeting. It was a time where all of the couples were able to share what the week meant for them and their favorite part of the retreat. After the meeting we went down by the pool to enjoy our final moments of the retreat singing songs together, while being warmed by a bonfire.
“Never say goodbye because goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting.”  -J.M. Barrie
These were not the final goodbyes with this close-knit group. Everyone will try as hard as possible to stay in touch and help one another along the journey like a family does.
