Wednesday is officially known as “Hump Day” as we hit the mid-point of our time together at Emerald Isle. Families had a chance to sleep in and enjoy the morning.  The theme of the day was “connecting” … what better way to connect with each other than to enjoy a meal and tap into our artistic side!  The Bethlehem United Methodist Church hosted a smorgasbord at the Western Park Community Center.
Then Diana & Meredith provided direction and encouragement for us to “paint our hearts out”.  Who knew there were so many ways to paint a sailboat, all MASTERPIECES of course!  Chapel by the Sea Church  hosted our dinner; a cookout with burgers and dogs.  As a bonus, the kids & kids at heart painted real fish to transfer onto T-shirts. What a wonderful day of connecting with such a talented group!
