Today was the last day of the Oak Island Retreat!  We started off the day with Meredith and Lauren taking family portraits. I can not wait to see the pictures in a few weeks. The families looked so rested and relaxed. Thank you SO much Meredith and Lauren!

We even had time for a few selfies!

The lighthouse was next on the agenda and it was amazing!  The volunteers for the Oak Island Lighthouse were so kind and helpful! We are looking forward to coming back next year!

We got to witness a new beginning of life today.  Jacci with Oak Island Recreation let us know of a turtle nest excavation.  We got to see two baby turtles begin their journey to the ocean.
 After seeing the new beginnings of the baby turtle we all met for our final dinner. Thank you to Taunya at the Bar-B-Que House and to Dale and Chris Lacy for the yummy salad and cupcakes!  The food was amazing!

We may have said goodbye tonight, but it is only the beginning of some wonderful life long relationships!  Thank you to everyone for saying “YES”!
