Playing in the Sand

Retreats

thrusday 11 (1000x667) thursday 5 (1000x667) thursday 7 (667x1000)

Today was a wonderful day to play at the beach.  The Little Pink families arrived at the beach and immediately  began to play in the water. We played cornhole (beanbag toss game) and went into the water and boogie boarded. The day would not have been complete without a silly string fight. The beach was a colorful mess after we sprayed silly string all over each other. We had chicken nuggets provided by Dead Dogs Saloon on then beach for lunch and then had an egg toss.
After a long relaxing day on the beach we went the the Ocean Lakes Rec Center for a barbecue meal provided by Lance Thompson and his family and friends. During our meal we were entertained by Josh Brennan who played guitar and sang us some relaxing country music.  We even had a special treat with one of our participants, Michael, jamming out on the harmonica as part of the show.  To cap off a great day we went to the Skywheel in Myrtle Beach.  The Skywheel provided us with a great view of Myrtle Beach and a calming view of the ocean on the other side.
