I love my family dearly. I am the head of household which means my employment provides health insurance for my family and all the necessary items to survive. As a result, I work long hours and constantly take on special projects to excel at my career. I am “on call” 24 hours a day with clients reaching out to me via phone and email. The nature of the business that I work in has provided no down time given the unrelenting natural disasters and traumatic violence across the globe. This retreat provided me with the opportunity to separate myself from this high level of stress to be in the moment and focus solely on me and my relationships. Similiarily, my daughter was excused from school with no competing school obligations allowing her to equally enjoy every moment of the retreat. None of us know how much time we have on this Earth. The Little Pink Houses of Hope Retreat allowed for me and my family to just be; resulting in memories to last a life time!
