Kimberly Gold
2023 Participant/Breast Cancer Survivor
Carolina Beach, NC

My husband Jeff and I were chosen for the gift of a Little Pink Houses retreat on the outer banks of Hatteras Island, NC this past May. It was a week of connection, joy, laughter and hope. The eight incredible women and their families, the VolunStars, the amazing homes, activities, meals, and beach were all a much needed break from what has been a challenging year. It was a chance to step away from a year which brought a diagnosis of triple negative breast cancer, surgery, chemo, radiation, and the multiple ongoing stages of recovery. I am so grateful for everyone who makes these retreats possible. Every detail was thought out and generously woven together to make the week peaceful, restorative, and fun!! It was truly a unique and beautiful experience.

With gratitude,
Kimberly Gold
