I was diagnosed in February of 2022, with stage 4 cancer. I have had many complications from a surgery in January that I will continue to live with for rest of my life. I have taken this battle heads on and not let it discourage me living my life. As a single parent, it gave my son and mother a trip we would have never taken otherwise. My son is adult, this gave him an opportunity to meet others who understand what that last year has been.
