Diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, stage II, we struggled to connect in a lot of ways due to worry and concern. The stress of money, work, bills, appointments and treatment caused us to feel like everything was about cancer! This trip gave us joy! It took our minds off things and connected us to others going through the same stuff.
