Surprise Wedding at Myrtle Beach Breast Cancer Retreat

News

Ten families of breast cancer survivors got together to give one family a night they’ll never forget.
This isn’t your typical wedding on the beach.
All of the families here battle breast cancer including the bride.
Kathleen Walsh of Ohio was undergoing chemo a year ago when she was supposed to be celebrating her 20th wedding anniversary with her husband.
So, she thought it’d be nice to surprise her soul mate with a vow renewal ceremony while on vacation.
“It was very nice of everybody including my lovely bride,” said Bill Walsh, Kathleen’s husband.
All of these families just met.
They got an all expenses paid vacation in Myrtle Beach so they could forget about cancer for one week.
Once they all learned of Wednesday’s ceremony they realized they could all help out.
