It was a 'fishy' day!

Retreats

Blog written by: Retreat Director Kate Weiss

We had a very early start to our day, the fishing boat departed Hatteras at 8am. Only half the participants went fishing while the other half slept in and then headed out for a little shopping.

Later in the afternoon Capt. Lee and his wife Mary picked us up and took us to a hard to reach beach for a nature walk and shelling.  Mary and Lee have great knowledge of the island, its Eco system and all the shells.  It was a great time!!

Date Night was hosted by two great restaurants on the island.  A big SHOUT OUT to Pangea and The Mad Crabber!  They treated our couples like kings and queens while they enjoyed a fabulous meal.

Thank you to everyone who made our day such a good one.  Our couples are amazed by all the love they keep getting from the Outer Banks and it’s people.

God’s work is being seen all over this island!
