The week is coming to an end.

Retreats

Blog by: Retreat Director Kate Weiss
Another beautiful day in the Outer Banks.  Our day started early again for those who went fishing off the Avon pier.  Joe Thompson, the owner of the pier, and Keith, the manager, made our couples feel very welcome. Unfortunately no one had any good tips on how to hook the big fish!

Our couples had the rest of the day to go to the lighthouse and have the day to explore.  One couple stopped by ” The Old Grey House” and enjoyed meeting the owners and chatting with them.

The evening was topped off by a visit from our founder Jeanine Patten-Coble, who brought along her son, Jake and a few of his friends, Andre, Lake, and Isach. We all shared a delicious dinner that was supplied by Allan Burris at the Red and White Market in Hatteras. Dinner was topped off by a wonderful pineapple upside down cake that our volunstar Bob made.  It’s hard to believe that it is Friday and the week is coming to an end soon.
