I’m not single, but when I got accepted to go to Sedona with Little Pink Houses of Hope my husband had just started a new job and could not attend. No way I was going to miss out. So yes, I went alone and had the best time of my life.

I was never bored or felt out of place. I was treated like a Queen, well actually we all were, but I got invites from the staff and other families to hang out. I got to spend some time to myself enjoying the beautiful condo I was living in. I was also able to enjoy some ME time to myself and rest my body in between adventures.

The VolunStars are very attentive and will do everything to see to it that you are having a great time. There was so much laughter and good times and so many friendships being made. I’m so happy that I did not back out just because I would have to attend by myself.

The one thing that will stick with me is that Little Pink Houses of Hope is a group of women whose love does not discriminate. Nothing matters except for one week you get to say F*** CANCER and laugh until your side hurts.
